Morgan Capital are leading the repositioning of 21 Bloomsbury Street, an 85,000 sq ft office building in the heart of Central London, on behalf of a private investor. Planning consent was granted in February 2023 for the comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the building, to include new 6th and 7th floors, as well as extension at the rear. These alterations will create extensive new outdoor terracing for most floors, as well as adding a substantial new 4,500 sq ft 7th floor communal roof terrace with indoor amenity pavilion space. The development is targeting the highest sustainability and wellbeing standards, including BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Core Platinum, and NABERS 5 stars. In combination with a 95% retention of the existing structure, 21 Bloomsbury Street will be one of the UK’s most sustainable office buildings.
Completion is expected late 2024.
