Morgan Capital swoops on Mayfair and South Bank offices

Morgan Capital Partners has completed a pair of off-market transactions in Mayfair and the South Bank.

The company purchased 53 Great Suffolk Street, SE1, for around £16m from a fund managed by Threadneedle.

The historic warehouse building has planning consent for a 30,000 sq ft refurbishment and extension that will provide grade-A specification office space. The location is also close to London Bridge and Waterloo stations.

Morgan Capital Partners has also bought 15 Stratford Place, W1, from a private oversees investor for an undisclosed sum.

The 17,500 sq ft building overlooks St Christopher Place and provides the opportunity to refurbish the office space while retaining the flagship Jigsaw fashion store on the ground floor.

Colliers and CBRE advised Morgan Capital Partners separately on each deal.
